Termites pose a serious threat to properties in the region, with the potential for significant damage and expensive repairs if left untreated. Because of their destructive nature, the Gold Coast is considered one of the worst areas for termites.
Without active protection in place, termite damage can go undetected and is often not covered by insurance.
Regular inspections are important, but true peace of mind comes from ongoing termite protection systems designed to detect and eliminate threats before they cause costly damage.
Termites can cause significant damage in as little as six months, making early detection and prevention critical, ensuring infestations are identified and treated before they escalate.

Find and repair any water leaks you may have inside or outside your property, such as leaking hoses, drains and pipes
Direct run off from hot water systems and air conditioners away from the property
If your property has a subfloor, ensure that it has good cross-floor ventilation, drainage, and access for a termite inspection
Store firewood or building materials away from your property, not under the subfloor or against your property.
Clear any dead trees, fallen branches, old wood and stumps from your property.
Make sure garden beds or paving doesn’t cover your weep holes or the external edge of your concrete slab, always allow at least a 50mm inspection zone from the top of the slab.
Only use treated timbers for garden beds or retaining walls.
Do not fix structures such as fences and verandas to your property that could allow concealed termite entry.
Check your foundations for cracks and other termite entry points and repair where necessary.

Yes. A physical termite barrier is designed to prevent concealed termite entry to a structure by forcing termites to track over the physical barrier. Regular termite inspections enable your pest management technician to visually identify any termite leads if they track over the physical barrier or to determine if termites have gained concealed entry to your property.
Yes. A chemical termite barrier is designed to either repel termites and prevent concealed termite entry to a structure or to not repel the termites but instead to kill them through contact and ingestion as they continue to forage through the soil.
Regular termite inspections enable your pest management technician to determine if termites have gained concealed entry to your property.
Yes, we only use APVMA approved pesticides.
It depends on the type of Termite Management System that you have installed. A Chemical Termite Barrier will typically last up to eight years, whereas a Termite Baiting System can last indefinitely with ongoing management and maintenance. Both types of Termite Management System require regular Termite Inspections to ensure optimal performance.
